He is one of the 2 Kashmiris who ran 107 km from Jawahar Tunnel to Nishat Garden Srinagar with Pat Farmer (international athlete) in last leg of his ultra marathon.

20 year old Ehtisham Khan, a multi-sport athlete hails from Srinagar. He did his schooling from Burn Hall School.

“I am into adventure sports from class 3, when I went for my first snow Skiing course. And then made my place in the national skiing team in 2010. Till date I have competed in 06 national championships including a league, held within and outside J&K.”

He has been a captain for teams like J&K, Delhi, U.P and Indian Institute of Skiing & Mountaineering (IIS&M) and this year he’ll be leading the team J&K.

Apart from skiing, he is a bronze medalist in Artificial Rock Climbing. He is also a cyclist who has competed in various state level and local competitions like tour de Kashmir, Kashmir Cycling challenge & races organised by NCC group.

This year he has received an invitation from the Triathlon Association of Davao, Philippines, to participate in the International BPI DURAINMAN Triathlon and It is for the first time any Indian has been invited to the event.
