With the blooming vogue of entrepreneurs and innovators in Valley, two such young minds have set a benchmark by the creation of KartFood.
Furqan Qureshi hailing from Naseem Bagh, Srinagar is a B.com student in Islamia College and Amir Bashir Dar is a former student from Delhi University, a resident of Jawahar Nagar.
“Javid Parsa, who owns valley’s one of the famous restaurants ‘Kathi Junction’ is our good friend. We always used to tell him that he should start food delivery service for his restaurant because people here are crazy about rolls. One day he suggested us that why don’t we start our own food delivery services in Kashmir? The idea flicked our mind and we start working on it. Besides this, many people were planning on the same thing but we believe that ‘action speaks louder than words’ and finally we are here with Kashmir’s first own online food delivery service- KartFood”
Before KartFood, Furqan was running his own online e-commerce business – CartZu. CartZu deals with online selling of mobiles, accessories, electronic items etc. Amir is a Social activist and is intent on joining DU again.
