She is also perusing bachelors in interior designing from SSM College of Engineering and Technology.

She started her football journey in the year 2007. During that time she was the only girl who used to come for football practice at Bakshi Stadium. She was soon denied coaching due to non-availability of more girl players there. She then started practicing Football with her father at home.

Later she started practicing at women’s college MA road under coach Mr. Gulzar Ahmad. Soon Ahmad Ishfaq, a well-known footballer of Kashmir started coaching her at Bakshi Stadium. During this time she approached J&K Football Association/Sports Council regarding Football coaching which assured her that they will inform her when more girls will turn up but unfortunately she never got any positive response.

With passion & zeal for this sport, she never stopped practicing. She participated in state championships & got selected for nationals but unfortunately, the national team was dropped due to unrest in Kashmir valley which was the biggest setback for her.
